First Semester Reflection

Image result for vista california    This semester has bin a crazy one. The craziest part is that it is almost the end, actually this is the end of this semester. Despite that, I have enjoyed most of it I love the student teacher relationships especially in my English class. This semester was full of motivation and purpose. Witch is one of  the main reason I joined the P.L.A . Previous years I have done assignments that to me felt like they had no purpose. well this year my favorite assignment was definitely the business project. Reason being, because it was a grate experience to what actually needs to be done when opening a business.

This semester I feel like I greatly improved my business terminology, people skills and common responsibility’s of being an adult and life after high school. I now have the right knowledge to know what the teller is doing/ what is going one any time I visit the bank, and I have actually had an interesting conversation with a Wells Fargo teller about the future economy and well Fargo’s business with the out brake of sells competition.

Over all I fell like I can pitch in on adult conversations around the dinner table. Impress my aunts and uncles with all the stuff I now about current event stuff that can affect our living, or our community. I can only thank all of my teachers for this and expect more of this stuff next semester.

Chapter 1: Strangers at the Door, pages 1-9.

I am Yuki. This Christmas season is surely going to be unforgettable. It all started with a radio news announcement. The announcement was that the japan had flown several planes into pearl harbor. When I heard this announcement I didn’t know what to think I just looked around both mother and father were in shock they could not believe what had happened. To make things worse these strange guys showed up to our door step not long after that, they were looking for father . Those strange guys ended up being the FBI, and taking father with them.

Chapter 2: The Long Wait, pages 11-18

I am yuki. The policemen are still blocking out anyone from entering the house. All I can think about is whether father is going to come back and if the policemen will let Ken into the house as he is studying at the library. The phone had rung, mother had answered it. It was a call for the police informing them that hey could leave from gard. When all the guards had left but one, I had a feeling that the FBI had found ken and took him with them.I was relieved to see Ken. He was confused to what was happening, he had absolutely no idea to what was going on.

Chapter 3: A Lonely Christmas, pages 19-29

I am Yuki. With still no word from father rumors were starting to spread about what was going to happen to those who have been taken in. I am being dispised at school by people the I would have never thought would have anything against me. With the type of rumors that are being spread we can not ignore these rumors, we must get ready if there is an evacuation of all japps.

Chapter 11:  A Home in the Desert, pages 93-102

I am Yuki and I am excited to be moving to Utah, and having a better living. My expectations are high for our new home. I am excited to finally be able to go back to school. I have been wanting to have a living back to how it was before. Like it was at home, I can’t wait to have a place I can call home. One we arrive to our new home in Utah  it appeared as it was still under construction.we could not use any of the appliances or put anything on the walls. This to me still didn’t feel like home to me.

Chapter 12:  Dust Storm, pages 103-109

I am Yuki. I feel terrible seeing my Emi in the condition she is in. not knowing how long she will be there is killing me. In order to get to see her I had to smuggle myself into the hospital room. The process was not easy I had to hide from all staff including the nurse, but it was all worth it from just being able to surprise her, to giving her a get well present. I wish I could just hang out in the hospital all day with Emi.

logomakr_3l1ymqReflection:

When being assigned to create a small business that would benefit the community I struggled at first, I could not think of a specific problem that could be fixed my creating a company. I thought of fixing equipment in the parks, and lots of other stuff, but what really stud out to me was the fact that there a just too many stray dogs. some that really should  not be out there with out there owner in a neighborhood with small children. what rally pushed to put a change in this problem was a flash back to when I was about eight years old and I was walking home from the buss stop, and out of no where this medium sized dog comes running towards me I don’t how to react so I freaked out and ran. The dog never stooped chasing me, that experience made me terrified of dogs till this day. That is why I have come out with this company known as Pet Proofers to prevent others from going through the same experience.

Kapernick’s decision on sitting down for the national anthem is not a sign of disrespect. It is a good step towards his fight. I believe that the topic of police brutality will now be noticed more because the NFL is a big part of U.S. sports, and if a quarterback in the NFL is fighting for the end of police brutality more people will realize it is a big problem, and will join the fight for the cause. In the article “In the ‘land of the free, are you free to sit out the national anthem?” Jaweed Kaleem states “Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane also sat on the bench.

This proves that people are joining Kapernick’s fight for true freedom. To answer the question,Do I support or oppose Kaepernick’s actions? I definitely support his decisions. I know what kapernick is talking about, the authorities abusing of their powers. I personally have experienced some of those cases. One time I believe it or not a cop actually turned on their siren on me while I was riding by bike in the bike lane, why? Oh just for having both earbuds in my ear. I’m just like are you serious? Out of all other crime you could find in the street you decide to wast your time with stuff like that.

Blog Post of Choice

Pretty much everyone has ridden a bike at one point in time, very few fall in love with there bikes and stick with it. Some of us ditch the training wheels instantly, others learn the hard way and don’t bother using training wheels, or you could have been like me who took forever to get comfortable with the bike.

My bicycle history goes way back, I remember what really pushed me to learn to ride a bike without training wheels was being the only one out of my cousins, and in my neighborhood with training wheels. I remember how embarrassing it was to ride by my neighborhood crush, and my older brother teasing me and making me look bad. My parents always made fun of me and how my one year younger cousin knew how to ride a bikeNickelodeon 16" Boy's Bike - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

This made more determined than ever to let rid of the training wheels. I remember the first time riding without training wheels. I was at my cousins house where my grandpa was at living at the time. I was out there on the side walk by myself  practicing and I remember thinking what if I look down, next thing you know I was balancing the bike, I was moving… then I had to stop or I would have crashed into a mail box. I was to proud of my self I ran to show my grandpa what I had done, only to realize I could only to it looking down at the pedals. My grandpa didn’t say anything like good job or congratulations, all he said was your going to crash, stop looking down, look up.

I would have never guessed as a kid that I would some day be so into bikes. I can’t think of one point in time where I didn’t have a bike have always had a bike at my house and not one rotting away just sitting there, no one that gets daily usage. It wasn’t until high school that……… To be continued.

Seek to have a career that is interesting, enjoyable, meaningful, and that contributes to society.

What is emotional wellness to me, and why do I care for it? To me emotional wellness is to have an passionate interest in what you can make a career out of. For example in my situation I have I high interest in working with vinyl material, whether it be wrapping my electronics, or making stickers. I am able to see my career though the vinyl wrap industry especially with my interest, experience, and knowledge with cars.

This an example of the type of work I would be doing all of these cars promoting their business. would be my type of customers.

How would this this carrier business contribute to society. The way I can tie these two together is by me helping other small businesses around the city promote themselves.

Just helping others and making a living out of it is all I have ever dreamed of. that would be where the happiness part would kick in.

Its like Sheryl Sandberg’s famous quot says “It is the ultimate luxury to combine passion and contribution. It’s also a very clear path to happiness.” This quote makes it clear that it is not just my dream to have a carrier in what I am passionate about and conferrable with.

Having a positive attitude, High self-esteem, and the ability to recognize and share a wide range of feelings with others in a constructive way.

Living life to it’s fullest, can be an other interpretation of Emotional Wellness. How do I interpret emotional wellness?

Well to me emotional wellness means to have self confidence, and live positively. Living positively and confidently is mainly all in your thoughts, in the way you seek or present yourself. If all you think of is the negative possibility’s some of those outcomes will realize themselves in to reality and into your life.

It’s like in the book “THE SECRET”, John Assaraf brings to our attention that, ” the reason why people do not have what they want is because they are thinking more about what they don’t want than what they do want.” The more you practice this positivity act. the more it rewords you and vice versa with negativity.

As far as self confidence it is like being a chatterbox, I only say this because that’s the way I feel about my self currently. I feel like I have so much to say that some time I just want to let it all out at once. some times I just want to express my feeling and I don’t realize that who I am trying to talk to is currently busy. Then I do that award walk away when you have just been ignored.

I am not just taking about shearing what you did this weekend or how “lit” the party was. What I mean is being conferrable about sharing your rough patches with teachers, close friends, or even that classmate you got paired up with for a activity team work, collaborative assignment. It’s all bout finding the common interest with your soundings and the people around you.
